
Here, you can add new words by typing them in the text box and clicking on Add. Once you’ve found it, press Ctrl+M (or Command+M). On Windows, to find the check mark key, press Ctrl+F (or Command+F), and on Macs, use the Apple key. You can also view your dictionary by clicking on the small arrow and View personal dictionary. If you’re looking for a way to indicate that you’ve finished reading or understood something, check marks can be helpful on a computer keyboard. If the spell check highlights a word that you wish to use later on, you can click on Add to Dictionary, so it won’t be flagged by the spell checker in the future.
Add to Dictionary: The spell check is not perfect, and often it can highlight a word that is correct but not in the dictionary. You can also click on the small arrow and then click on Ignore all to ignore all the suggested changes. Ignore: Clicking on Ignore simply ignores the suggestion, moving on to the next one.
Clicking on Change changes the word to “Whole Wheat.” You can click on the small arrow beside the option and click on Change all to apply the changes to all instances of the wrong words.
Change: Clicking this option changes the highlighted incorrect word to the selected word in the suggestion box. Select a portion of text, and cut it by pressing Ctrl+X, or Command+X if youre on a Mac. You can select the options in the dialog box depending on the function you wish to perform. Optional: Next to "Unchecked," enter a value. In the menu at the top, click Data Data validation. For example, the custom checked value could be "Yes," and the unchecked value could be "No." You can add checkboxes with custom values. Note: You can use checkboxes with charts, filters, pivot tables, and functions. To remove checkboxes, select the checkboxes you want to remove and press Delete.
In the menu at the top, click Insert Checkbox. Select the cells you want to have checkboxes.
